Steamy? Yea! Raunchy? Well,I can't really say. But from the look of things this novel sounds promising, romantically.

I'm all for hot and steamy sex scenes so I'm geared to take in this book not to found of how the husband was portrayed but interested in forming my own opinion

I am not a big fan of triangles, having been an unknowing participant of one. I think we always bring in a little of our life stories into anything we read. Maybe if I had read this before I came to my personal conclusions in life, maybe I would have wised up sooner? LOL The fact that Joe tries to shift the blame, even at the end, makes me dislike him more! Don't go back Evie! Don't do it! LOL I guess the book needs to be read to see if he is worth it or not? ;)

I am not a romance reader so I know this one is not for me. It's good to hear that you liked it so much. That means those who do enjoy romances will definitely love it. Thanks for your insight!

:techie-studyingbrown: The storyline sounds predictable. However, a character you get to hate right to the end sounds interesting.Nice review

This is one of the unputdownable books. I read the sample and couldn't imagine I would wait until I bought the book to read it. Great storyline.

Great review, I wasn't sure about this book, but your review of Joe and how much you dislike him makes me want to read it, just to hate him myself.

I will have to read this myself before I make up my mind on joe. For Evie, maybe she's being carried away by the gig around Jake. It'll be a good story to read, not forgetting the promised sex scenes too.

I love how you stated a potential plot twist without mentioning who will face it (the near-death experience) I love you portrayed Joe as unlikeable but you still left hope in our heart to pursue the story and hear him out. Thank you!

Sometimes we are confronted with very dizzy choices in relationships. This novel highlights that crucial point.

I've read the sample and you can tell it's set in the UK and written by a British author. I'm from the UK and guys like Joe and Jake are everywhere. I was hoping for some good character development for Joe but by the sounds of it, the reader will probably be disliking him for most of the book.
