It sounds like it tackles some strong topics, and I'm sure the intensity of these topics makes a good story filled with emotions. By reading your review, it sounds like a well-written book.

The story itself touches on some very serious topics, not only terrorism, but rape, kidnapping... Good review

This sounds like a good book, although I'm usually not really into the themes it incorporates since I'm usually more into upbeat stories. Great review!

I found some of what was mentioned in the synopsis on Amazon rather cliched. However, your review has shed a slightly different light. I'm not much on romantic thrillers though. Thanks for the review.

This is a good review, and you seemed to really enjoy the book. I appreciated books that address hard topics, even though that is not their primary purpose. I am not a fan of the "Romance" genre, though this seems to also be a suspense and action book.

This book sounds interesting even though the plot seems familiar. I like how you mentioned that it can be read as a stand-alone novel even though this is the second book in the series. You mentioned that sometimes things fall in line a little to easily which scares me because that is one of my biggest pet peeves when I read books. But overall, great job on the review!

When the power of love shall overcome the love for power the world shall know peace. I really enjoyed Escape , Tip of the spear Book I and reading the sample my expectation is at optimal level that the author will outdo herself in this book . This is a must read for me. Great review

I like this book and I also remember the first book in this series. I like that the characters are from different countries and the topics are relevant to today. As a fan of politics especially global politics, it is nice when a book accurately depicts the various conflicts in different countries. My favorite part of the story is that Layla is not the stereotypical damsel in distress waiting to be saved.
