Enjoyable Authors: Susan Ee

Post by BinaryEye101 »

Susan Ee has been one of my most favorite authors, based on her ability to write in the apocalyptic style. Her thoughts on theme and setting do not go unnoticed, based on how one would read and interpret the series "Peryn and the End of Days". Her artistic style is also well recommended, on the basis of her respect to others' ideals and opinions as well as the idea of bringing in new moments in the genres she prefers. Now, I haven't yet fully experienced her writing as a whole, basing my experiences off of three series she has written, so other writers will have other opinions of her. All in all, her writing does instill thrill and delight when the eyes glace the words, and her stories get the heart beating in suspenseful anticipation for what is to come.

She publishes books through the Paradise Press imprint and currently divides her time between Kentucky and California. Her books are often memoirs about travel. One of her well-known books, Treading the Maze, An artist's journey through breast cancer, published by Chronicle was created as what she calls "a journey through the land of cancer." King has been written about in The Penland Book of Handmade Books: Master Classes in Bookmaking Techniques, representing master craftsmen at the Penland School of Crafts.
