A fairy tale in the style of the Beauty and the Beast but in reverse sounds intriguing. I don't mind about explicit sexual content as long as they aren't that many and are tastefully done. I hope the author fixed the editing issues by now. A book that made you laugh, cry and love along with the protagonist should be good. Nice review!

Sounds like the character development is well done! If I'm going to read a love story, I need to emotionally engage with the characters, at least.

Great book with very important life lessons. We should be careful and cautious in all we do because those who seem innocent may be the ones to hurt us and make our lives a living hell.

A perfect marriage turns into something ugly...even close to strangling Mimi? That seems intense. It's great that you found this as an amazing, emotional romance. I do like that the author included some backdrop of real life with these characters - it does make a story more realistic. Too bad about the amount of errors here. Due to this, the steamy scenes, and some abusive ones, I will pass, but I'm glad you enjoyed this!

Love and Abuse in today's world, it's not a fairy tale.....l found this to be an intriguing love story which keep me on the edge of my seat and wondering what next would happen.

Heather Guimond's Shattered Perfection seems like a book I would want to read. However, while Mimi Bishop and Vance Ashcroft's love relationship sounds like one to follow closely, this genre just isn't for me.

As always, beautifully written review, Miriam Molina!

For a debut book I do agree it is quite interesting. I'm glad the errors grammatical and punctuation did not take away from the story. Being a sucker for happy/great endings, I'm glad the story ended well. Great review...
