Many couples have found out the hard way that that "live happily ever after" is just a fairy tale. Marriage is full of not only happy but also sad moments and even irritating moments as well. I'm glad the author decided to give a happy ending in her story, though. Thanks for the review Miriam, I enjoy reading it. :)

The book's title is intriguing. The moment I read it, I became curious with what is it all about and interested to find out more. The cover looks fabulous too! Then, the review is enlightening and it encompasses everything about the story, the author's writing style and even the trivial typing errors. I like what she mentioned regarding the author's use of romantic quotes to thrill a lady or man. I would want this book in my reading list. Thanks for the great review!

Sounds like a novel that evokes several emotions, but I do not want to read about a man who turns into an abuser. Too bad about the grammatical errors. Thanks for the review!

What a great review.
Just when Mimi thought she had a perfect life, everything goes wrong. Looks like a great romantic, heartbreaking story.

This sounds like such a gripping book to read. I think with the main character being a lawyer it will be even more interesting.

The reviewer has written a great review. I see the story unfolds as a marriage seems to fall apart after only a year. It sounds like a classical love story , but with the cast of other characters that makes it seem more like real life. It sounds like a story to read if you like romance.

I think I'm gonna give this a try. I'm a little weary about the verbal abuse aspect and how they reconcile but I don't think I will let that stop me.

Hi, all! I wrote this review some months back but still remember the fun I had reading the book. Some of my friends call me Mimi so it was easy to put myself in her shoes. This story is something I'll always remember with fondness. I'm glad that it is BOTD and free at that! Now you all have the chance to enjoy it, too!

A story of romance and heartbreak that later ended happily seems good enough for me. I'll get the book and read it soon. That's a good review you did there Miriam.

"Fearing for her life, she leaves home and slowly tries to pick up the pieces of her shattered heart. Vance attempts a reconciliation. Will Mimi take him back? Will their perfect love ever be restored?"
- I could relate in this story because this happened to me. Even up to the present, my hubby keeps on asking for forgiveness and second chances but I decline; maybe because he might be successful in taking away my life if I will give him another chance. I had run safely and there's no point of going back.

I like a love story that has an open ending (and of course a bonus point for explicit sexual content). Looking forward to read this book!
