Unbalanced is about four girls, each of them having some powers. Who are being hunted. I love the way the writer describes it amazingly, You can picture yourself in the story while reading it. It is amazing.

This fantasy novel seems like a modern "chosen ones" story. The concept of elemental power held by the four is one that is similar to the cartoons Captain Planet and W.I.T.C.H. Seems like a light, predictable read.

I agree I wouldn't be dying to read the second novel, but this one seems like a light and fun read with good character development and a straightforward plot. Thanks for the detailed review!

Great review, from reading the sample i agree wholeheartedly with your assessment. Fast moving and easy to read. Enjoyable characters, even the evil ones. I think this book would suffer from deeper writing, it is a wonderful light read.

Great review, very thorough. This sounds like a read for fans of easy, light fantasy reads. The fact that the four women each have the power to harness one of the four elements definitely grabs my attention. The fact that it lacks depth and wasn’t finished by some readers does give me pause though. Thanks so much for sharing.

The book sounds like Paranormal romance. Your review is good and helped me a lot in deciding about reading further. Thanks!

From the review, I don't think this is the book for me. Even if the 4 sisters are fun & interesting, if the plot is shallow and predictable then it's not the book for me.

It seems like the author covers a lot of ground in this novel. I'm glad to read that even though the four sisters' adventures are sometimes skimmed over, overall, the author delivers a well-developed story. I get nervous when there's a lot going on in a book that doesn't boast a particularly large amount of pages, but considering your review, I am on board with Unbalanced!

Thank you for this detailed review. I think this book sounds like a fun jaunt, even if it’s not the deepest, plot wise. I can always appreciate a story about strong and unique women, and adding a bit of magic is the cherry on the cake. I’m definitely interested in reading this one.

Hey there book buddy! Thank you for the tag! I haven't actually read this book. However, since it seems to be predictable and there isn't a lot of depth, I'd say I would steer clear from this read. Especially, since it looks like you've had a tough time getting through it, and we do have similar tastes in books, I don't think I would enjoy this one.

I love that the four women were uniquely written and developed well, that is very important in any read. However, as mentioned, since there isn't much depth here and nothing really new, then I don't think this is for me. In any case, I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed this as an entertaining and light read, MarisaRose!

Eventhough the review said this book has shallow plotting, I think it is an entertaining read. The four sisters seem interesting and unmistakeable.

The book sounds interesting, the descriptions of the few scenes I read through are captivating, and make the reader feel as part of the action. I believe this is one book when you start reading you may not put down until you have read to the end.

I read the sample for this book and I already see where there is definitely a lack of depth in the baddies. I did like the beginning descriptions of the Master though, his obvious zealous personality. Enjoyed your review! If this is to be a series, I could see myself trying it out.
