I understand your point about the shallow plotting. I'm glad that you liked the book overall though. Thank You for your review.

Unbalanced by Courtney Shepard Is a fun ride! Buckle up and hang on because you're going on a ride better than a scenic Sunday drive. Unbalanced nails it for adventure.

The book seems to have been skillfully written. I can see that the author took his time to develop each of the four characters.
Thanks for the review.

I do agree that this book should have had more information about what the sisters lives were like before they met one another. I am glad that the book was professionally edited since you did not mention any grammatical errors. I like that it would have been nice to have the sisters taught by older women, but I understand that it would not have fit in with the plot.

I like that Courtney Shepard incorporated the four brothers with elemental powers as a balance to the sisters ancient powers. They make the sisters more human and relatable.

[Unbalanced by Courtney Shepard.]
*spoiler on first 3 chapters*
Having read the sample, I find that the book has an interesting start. It helps one picture the four 'demon-witches' and the Master. I was a bit confused by how they were sacrificed at the prologue. So I can give it a 2 out of 5.

At the first chapter, I could feel the sadness of a mother as she is betrayed by her friend who makes her lose her adorable babies. But I also felt the storyline was a bit rushed through. However, I could give it a 3 out of 5.

The 2nd chapter introduces our first female protagonist, Asha. I loved her cheeky and caring nature. And despised the people controlling her. Later in the chapter we also see the first male lead who already has feelings for her based on his dreams. 4 out of 5 for the chapter.

"Unbalanced", well its a nice review and wonderful summary of the book although for persons that love checking out the back cover of a novel before reading the whole its somehow tempting to want to know more and in all its really a nice review!

I love fantasy novels with characters having super powers. For the reviewer to rate it 4 out of 4 stars there must be enough depth to the plot. I'm longing to continue reading as I'm interested in the four sisters and the four men who helped them. Thanks for this review. It's only stirred my curiosity to wan to dig into the story.

Creativity is a skill well mastered by the best authors,. And this is one of my finest reads so far,. Getting to describe four related characters with different abilities requires extraordinary skill. The author is just perfect with the four sisters and despite it being written you can see through the description as though it was a movie. Thumbs up to the author for this wonderful piece.

I feel like I disagree on the bit about worldbuilding, simply on account of the fact that in my experience, authors don’t often return and build the world once they’ve reached the second book in a series. The story sounds somewhat interesting, but it’s also one that’s been done before in a lot of different ways, so I don’t know if I’m too interested in reading it. Thanks for your review!

Thanks for the review. Based on your review I'm not totally convinced that it should be rated a 4. It sounds like the book lacked a strong plot that draws in the reader and makes the characters interesting. I would not read the book based on the review.

Upon reading this book. This book for me is related to a four girls that have extremely power.Maybe they are different in the physical But their connection as a friend is the same. They develop their skills by practicing their own power. They do their best to develop the power.

Thank you for your honest review. Four sisters with the power to control the elements? It's fascinating to know that the main characters are all beautifully written. I love books with strong female leads so I would definitely try this one.

They each possess a unique power to harness one of the natural elements: fire, earth, water and air. Throughout time, there have been female quadruplets with the same powers who have been hunted by the mysterious ‘Order’ and sacrificed to ‘The Four.’ Unaware of their fate, the four women, with the help of four powerful male counterparts, will battle against the Order to save their lives and learn about their history.
These lines piqued my interest, but when you mentioned that the story has no in-depth world-building, I feel like I'm gonna bypass reading this book. I hope the author will make a compelling revision to hook the readers into reading it.
