Nice to have you join on ... sounds like an interesting job you have.Awillis50 wrote:Hey, my name is Alex. I found this forum searching for a good online book club. As I mentioned in another post (before discovering this thread) I am looking forward to broadening my horizons as well as enjoying the discussions that come from the book of the month. I am 28 years old and am a conductor for a large railroad in the US. Time in hotels gives me more than enough time to read.

You could check out the free public libraries in every city you visit. The US has some wonderful libraries and services. Architecturally the New York Public Library (The Rose Main Reading Room in the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building is amazing) and Washington's huge Library Of Congress via Capitol South Station are two very spectacular old buildings which offer readers the oldest books and the newest in e-technology. Ah, half your luck!Awillis50 wrote:Hey, my name is Alex. I found this forum searching for a good online book club. Here and for you I'm Norma J. Rose. That is my writer name.
I'm so glad I found this site where I can share the love for books with you.

I would be very pleased to receiving some suggestions on what book should I read... and, well, I look forward talking to you.
Tootles, guys.

My name is Patti and I'm obsessed with books =) I'm also the Socical Media Manager and Customer Service Director for BookCloseouts. Here's a bit about our company:
BookCloseOuts is one of North America's largest online sellers of Bargain Books. Bargain Books are new, unread books that the publisher sells-off in volume to reduce excess inventory. Sometimes the publisher printed too many copies, in other cases bookstores purchased too many copies and have returned them to the publisher for credit. We then purchase these returns and are able to sell them at a huge discount, between 50% - 90% off list price!! Please pop over to my forum if you have any questions/comments.
