A great thriller and the detail it shares about human mutation makes it a real deal to be read by anyone who has a taste in sci-fi books and novels. I enjoy sci-fi adventures that include powers and mutation. It is a Supernatural story sprinkled with eccentric teenage romance.

This sounds like an exciting young adult story! I love how it is a coming-of-age novel but is also science fiction with a hint of romance! Congrats on book of the day! Great review!

So many unfamiliar words even just in the summary! This would be an interesting one to go through, and definitely sounds like it fits the sci-fi genre. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Mutated humans, called descendants, have biokenretic abilities. These abilities are a mutation which have been passed through generations. A good young adult story. Thanks for the review.

Seeing the review and comments of at least one other person that read-and LOVED-this book, I am very interested! Mutated humans originating in a mythical Russian family with a human/mutant love story thrown in...yes, please! Great review.

Nice review, the new mutations in an ordinary world sound interesting.

Wonderful review. I like reading fiction sci-fi books and so I found this review very useful. It has encouraged me to go read the book soon. It was interesting to read the story of Adam, the teen boy.

A sci-fic mesmerizing tale about mutated humans, called descendants with biokenretic abilities which has been passed down from generation to generation. Adam, a 16 years old boy went through biokenretic change because of puberty, fell in love with Carly Whit and the Iksha-a group of scientist seems to be after the descendants supernatural power that awesome and cool. I would love to read this book totally. Great review.

I love that through OBC I'm able to test out genres I wouldn't normally read. I'm not into sci-fi, but i'll give it a chance anyway. Even if I don't like it, at least I can say I tried, but I have a feeling from the review I think I will.

Great review, quite detailed. Although the plot concept is well thought out, I'm not interested in reading a story focused on teen drama despite its sci-fi theme.

This one's definitely not for me, I'm afraid, though I am curious about what counts as a biomimetic ability and what the significance of Russian ancestry is (asking for a friend, as the saying goes ;) )

The romance subplot seems forced, but the rest is very original.

This sounds brilliant! I've been looking for an interesting new sic-fi book to add to my TBR pile and this might be just the one I'm looking for! Thank you for the review

Although, for the right audience, this book sounds like it is an absolute gem. Unfortunately, I don’t think that it is for me. I’m not a big fan of the YA genre and mixing mutated humans with romance within that genre isn’t going to work for me. Hopefully many others will find it as exciting as you did. Thanks for the review.

The book review and description reminds me of Percy Jackson and Shadowhunters, so I can already tell I'm going to love this! I definitely like the idea of following Adams journey and how his life changes in response to life events, and I'm intrigued to see how Carly plays a part in that too. The mixture of fantasy/sci-if and romance isn't too common in books so I think this is great. Adding to my 'want to read' shelf.
