Although, for the right audience, this book sounds like it is an absolute gem. Unfortunately, I don’t think that it is for me. I’m not a big fan of the YA genre and mixing mutated humans with romance within that genre isn’t going to work for me.

This book sounds very interesting and I can easily imagine the various sci-fi characters that you mentioned. My favorite part is the setting and the backstory of the characters. I am able to visualize the cold Russian winters and the vastness of the wilderness. The seven Russian families who fight against the Iksha provides more depth to the story.

This sounds like its going to be a really good book and I love movies like this. It sounds like something I'd read or watch from comics. Sc-if / fantasy are one of my favorite areas to read.
I do think the setting in Russian is an interesting twist. Thanks for the review.

The synopsis doesn't really seem like my cup of tea, though it looks like it may interest some! I'm glad to hear about how the author writes the characters well, which is something I generally like to look for. Great review!

Hmm! Not usually a fan of sci-fi, but this is a must read for me. I’ll be determining if the sex might be too much to add the book to my classroom library or not. A ying and a yang...I look forward to checking this one out.

I read a few pages of this book and did not desire to read farther. I have no interest in most sci-fi and a book about a mutant and those trying to destroy him are not in my genre of reading. Thanks anyway for the review.

It looks as an awesome adult science fiction book. I would also love to experience the powers that the descendants have. Great to see also that Adam and Carly complement each other perfectly.

Great review of Opaque. The summary was just enough to draw in more readers without revealing any spoilers. This review touches on all the right elements of what makes a book a good read: Character analysis, plot development, tone, and characteristics and comparisons of other works that fall into the Sci-fi Fantasy genre. Thanks for the recommendation.

This book looks intresting. It being a story of mutated being with different abilities trying to cope with life by not only dealing with mutation that they have but also love, stress, work and school is an all round book and worth reading. Thanks for the review.

Description quiet promising and cyberpunk is so undeservedly forgotten that any work in this genre raise interest. That the premise of this book seems sound is definitely big bonus.

Mutations, enemies that long for power and control of super abilities and a little bit of romance... This books sounds as if it was written for me. Based on your review, it seems Adam`s change is perceptible to himself and others. I can`t wait to start reading it. Thanks for this great review!
