If it wasn't true I wouldn't be here for sure. No we don't have any snakes in the wild but you have the occasional 'weirdo' who imports snakes as pets & of course they have some in the zoo!A24 wrote:is that really true Fran? no snakes? I heard that about St. Patrick but really?
St Patrick gets the credit for banishing them but I think it might have more to do with being an island but why ruin a good story?

talking about kids movies that scared you - I had reoccuring nightmares about being stuck in a tube filled with cholcolate (Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory). Now as an adult - death by chocolate really doesn't sound that badBighuey wrote:That scared my youngest boy, too. One that scared me when I was about 6 or 7 was the giant genie in Sinbad The Sailor.BookBuddy wrote:Big Marshmallow man... (anyone saw Ghost Busters?!)

I guess that wouldnt be a bad way to go, it reminds me of that song the Smothers Brothers did, I Fell Into a Vat Full of Chocolate.Dragonflytears wrote:talking about kids movies that scared you - I had reoccuring nightmares about being stuck in a tube filled with cholcolate (Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory). Atmy job, my boss often puts a plastic spider on my keyboard and it makes me scream everytime.
It`s silly I know it`s made of plastic but I jump from my seat anyway
but I find this also funny as I know it makes no sense
