Inspired by the Simpsons...

If you had theme music that everyone heard what would it be?

I suppose that fan of the Simpsons will value the main theme from Futurama! Hope that everyone had heard this once...

Actually mine would have to be Dock Of The Bay by Otis Redding. I dont sit at a dock.. But thats not the point. But i was thinking about this question the other day, and this was the one song that kept popping back to mind. It fits. just has me written all over it. It's me. Yay.

Thats a tough one. Maybe Serenade to a Jerk by Spike Jones and his City Slickers, or on a more serious note, the theme song we had when I was with a band, Evil Man Blues by Josh White.

The sun came up this mornin
I was feelin mighty bad
My baby said good mornin
Hell it made me mad

Just because Im so evil
Evil hearted me
Im just down right evil
Evil as a man can be.

She even cooked my breakfast
She brought it to my bed
I took a sip of coffee
Threw the cup right at her head

I dont even care
If it rains from now on
And the girl who loves me
Had never been born

I sold out to the devil
Troubles all I crave
Id like to see you dead
And lyin in your grave

I dont even care
If she leaves me flat
I got 40 other mamas
So what do ya think of that

Just because Im so evil
Evil hearted me
Im just downright evil
Evil as a man can be.

Whatever that song is that is the theme song in the Austin Powers movies. It's a Powers thing, I guess. :)

But really, whenever I happen to hear it, I get urged to break into dance. I think that's what it's there for. Me. Dancing. It's a scary imagine!

Right now it would be This Old House by Rex Allen.

This old house is gettin shakey
This old house is gettin old
This old house lets in the rain
This old house lets in the cold.
My knees are gettin chilly
But I fear no fear or pain
Cause I see an angel peekin
Through a broken window pane.

Hmmm that's a hard one, but I'd have to say....Give It Away from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Favorite band plus I love how he says "give it way, give it away give it away now" I find myself singing that often:)

Today my theme song would be My Dog Has Fleas by The Victor Young Concert Orchestra. The little bugger is scratching all over the place. Time for a flea bath.
