Great story, I love the kind of stories when the character faces these difficult situations and despite all get's up, gathers the strengths and moves forward... I am sure Miriam has done the same. Want to read this great book. Thank you for such a beautiful review.

One is you can either let that grief swallow you up your who life and tare you apart or you buckle up your self and learn to move on. I know it is difficult but if you cannot live for you, live for your daughter. She has a life. Thank you for summoning that thought to me through your review!
Thanks for commenting. It is so true about grief. So hard to pull yourself back up sometimes.
It is, it truly is. But you must try because life always move on...!

Thank you for your endearing review. I already yearn so much to read this book. Books like this suck you in and spit you out only at the very end. Then you end up a soggy mess for days after :lol2: . Never easy to forget!

I know this book would affect me the way it does for you. Reading the review, I was trying to decipher Emma's intentions. Was Miriam really being neglectful? Is Emma just controlling? Or perhaps she really wanted to motivate Miriam to try to get out of the grips of depression. In any case, I'm really not sure how I feel about Emma, but this sounds like a book I would get very caught up in. Thanks for the wonderful review!

This story relates me when I was in grief and sorrow too because of depression. I am thankful that I was able to read this because it helps know how to live with confidence and feel God's love for me.

This sounds incredible, especially because it is her debut novel. I think I'll definitely have to be in a mood to read this one but I can't wait to experience this emotional rollercoaster. Thanks for a great review!

The title of the book says a lot about its plot. A flower gives me the idea of something tender, delicate if there's some pressure over a flower, of course, it destroys it. I can only imagine Miriam is the flower and the loss of her husband must be devastating. But indeed, life goes on. Thanks for sharing your thought on this book!

So this is one you want to read with a box of tissues nearby. I think there should be more stories about grief as it affects us all. I hope she's able to somehow find the strength to move in with her life.

Great review! Your enthusiasm for the book is contagious. I usually don't care for these types of stories as they make me sad. Still, you made the book sound interesting and Miriam sounds very relatable.
