Did anyone say the internet yet? I love the internet. It's like a super printing press. :P

The paper clip. Ingenious in its simplicity.
To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream, not only plan, but also believe.

Id have to say the electric razor. Always hated the soap and brush routine. What would be a close second would be beer. Benjamin Franklin said, "God is good because He showed man how to make beer."

I remember listening to someone argueing for the bicycle ... apparently it's design is baseically unchanged since it was first invented.

But for me the washing machine has to be the greatest

Time Machine. Wait, it's not invented yet? Well it should be.

Probably filming though, also stop motion photography, projectors and everything helped to make a film just.. Classic.

Seems obvious but I've got to say the Kindle. Without it I would be bereft of any books without a 3 hour journey to the bookshop in Beijing, where I would still be very limited in what I could buy in English. :)

I think wireless communication (and all of the pieces and steps needed to make it happen) was a pretty good one.

Also, chimichangas.

I think toilet paper is important. Those corn cobs and Sears catalogs can be kind of rough. Especially if the corn cob is shared.
