Heidi!

I've read that book when I was younger and it tells about a young girl who went to live with her grandfather in the Swiss Mountains. I found it very heartwarming.

Nice to see an old post and books I hadn't thought of! I see a few others had mentioned it already, but my first thought was Anne of Green Gables! A few months ago, I started reading it again, forgot how much I enjoyed it and all its made for tv things. Netflix just made their own Anne series. Not too shabby. :tiphat:

Have you tried Mary Norton's 'Borrowers' books? Or maybe some anthologies from various mythologies.

I recommend you The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald, "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee, "One Hundred Years of Solitude" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and "Moby-Dick" by Herman Melville.
