I found the illustrations beautiful and appropriate for the targeted age group. Base did a good job with this one!
I agree. The engaging illustrations and simple sentences are perfect for the intended audience!

I gave this book a perfect rating. Having taught primary schoolers for about three years, I immediately loved the book for its simplicity of language and vibrant use of colour. I also loved that the pictures are not professional 3-D drawings. They look like something a child has drawn and coloured.

I'd definitely recommend the book to parents of children who are starting to read. It perfectly serves its purpose as an introductory reader. The great thing is that once the child has mastered the pattern, he/she could write their own sentences using the same pattern and make their own version of the book!

The only negative I could pick out was the font size. Though the author has clearly contrasted the font from the picture, a larger size font may have been more appropriate.

It seems like a lot of readers have great ideas for hands-on activities that could have been included with this book. Maybe Base should create a supplemental book with coloring pages, fill in the blanks with the child's own likes, a little sticker dress-up page to put Toni in either his superhero costume, swimsuit, or everyday clothes. It would be nice if Base would include this as part of the purchase of Toni the Superhero.

I’ve been considering whether or not to read this book, and the reviews are pretty compelling! I’m an enormous fan of books that encourage a love of literacy in young learners, and am now convinced I should give this one a whirl!

I really love this book. The well drawn pictures makes the book interesting especially to children as it helps them understand and it also develop reading and speaking skills.
The superhero's good behavior would be a great lesson to parents who would like their children to follow.

I would rate this book 4 stars based on the fact that the author provides many themes that are meant to motivate children to grow intellectually and spiritually as well as to become industrious. Overall, this will cause them to become successful human beings.

I rated this story 4 out of 4 stars. I would recommend this book to anyone trying to teach their young children how to read. I enjoyed the simple sentences and engaging pictures. To be honest, I couldn't find anything I disliked about this book, aside from the lack of plot, which works for this introductory novel.

I think Toni is a great story to introduce reading to small children. It uses basic repetition accompanied by bright, colorful, yet simple illustrations. This will keep the child interested but not overwhelm them with the new concept of reading. I think it's nice to portray a superhero as doing normal activities and being a good person. It could motivate a child to be more excited about doing chores.

I like how the book is geared towards young children. It helps encourage them to read with phrases and the book maintains their attention with colorful illustrations. I don't have many complaints about it. It seems great for beginning readers.

So adorable, and such a great way to teach kids to do their chores. Also a good book to read before bedtime.
