My little brother absolutely loved this book! He is 8 years old but still found Toni's adventures quite enjoyable and entertaining to read!

I thought this was a very well crafted story book for young readers. It is good as a first I can read type book or for a read to me book. The art is colorful and attractive, the alliterative and repetitive prose will attract children, and the story has a good lesson that parents will find positive. I would rate this a 4/5. :techie-studyinggray:

I think we need more books that will install values and teach manners to the children of today. Also any book that will give the gift to a child of the Love of Reading, I am all for.
It’s a quick read. You may be able to get a free copy if you choose to review it.

My 7 year old really enjoyed it, too. I wanted to get his opinion of it, so I gave it to him to read. My 3 year old flipped through it, and really enjoyed the pictures. I will likely use the book to help him as he learns to read.

I think the book is a good book and something to guide kids. In the book Toni is not just a super hero saving people. He does house chores to remind kids that it's good to be helpful at home. I enjoyed reading the book and the illustrations were perfect. I think I'll rate the book 4 out of 4 stars.

I found the idea behind an everyday super hero intriguing however the book fell flat. The book feels haphazard in both illustration and writing. There is not even a basic storyline. The illustrations while colorful are out of proportion and seem childish. For this I rate the book a 1 out of 4.
It's nice to see a response from a parent. Since I don't have children or any children to even read to, it's definitely harder to gauge how I would feel as a parent. I'm probably not very discriminating about children's books because I haven't seen many of them for comparison. Thanks for sharing.

It's great to see ratings from those who actually let children read the book. So many of us are coming at this from an adult perspective while we try to look through the lens of children. It is quite difficult to do. Awesome to see that even at 7 and 8 children are still entertained by the book. Maybe this one will stay on children' bookshelves longer than I would have anticipated.

I gave the book 4 out of 4 stars. I thought it was a wonderful book for first time readers. What I loved the most is that Toni's superpowers don't seem to involve any supernatural actions. His greatest power seems to be his cheerful willingness to spend time with friends and family and help out wherever needed. And he likes to read! There's no greater superpower than that.

It is really a picture book meant for kindergartens and babies, and toddlers.Children mostly learn by seeing and hearing.
I rated this book 4 stars as children can interpreted the message the author was trying to convey by watching the actions of Toni the super hero.
Books are lovely.

This book sparked some interesting topics. A couple of the points brought up are a bit far fetched, in my opinion. However, as you said, it’s adults trying to look through the lense of children. My 3 year old has a speech delay, but can still tell me if he enjoys a book. I could also see how much he liked the illustrations. The simplicity of this book will make it that much more useful to me in helping my son not only learn to read, but also to speak more clearly.

My 7 year old loves reading. His reading skills are beyond the scope of this particular book, but he was still excited about a new book to read. His little brother really looks up to him, so it’s helpful for my 3 year old to see his big brother enjoy a book I want for him to read. Also, I could ask specific questions, as well as the more general questions, to find out the positive aspects as well as the negatives, if any. I brought up some of the topics from the forums here, but not all. For example, he didn’t bring up skin tone or nationality, so I didn’t either. I’m sure he noticed the physical attributes of the main character, because he paid close attention to all of the pictures. However, to bring it up in question would be an implication of that aspect being something unusual, and that’s not a seed I want to plant.

I reviewed the book and gave it a 4star rating. The illustrations are bright and Toni is very active. The repetitive first sentence helps children learning to read.
