I had the opportunity to review The Warramunga's War however, I passed it since I am not a fan of the historical fiction genre. However, your review tells me that I missed an opportunity to review a great book. This novel seems to have an engaging plot with well-developed characters. Further, the author has provided historical accuracy and also portrayed the mystical country of Egypt well. Thanks for the review!

The Warramunga's War by Greg Kater is a historical fiction book about war and espionage blended with dedication, determination, love, mystery, romance, and teamwork. A guitar music sheet is an addition for the music lovers.

I am neither into war nor music so I'll bypass reading this book. If the first ten pages could pique my interest, I might read the whole book. Thanks for the detailed review.

Great review! Anything related to World War 2 involving Nazi's is always interesting. I will read the whole trilogy.

Bravo to both the author and the reviewer of the book. This book being based on historical fiction makes it a must read for me. Books like this which impact knowledge are the kinds which keep me in doors. And the review is very convincing and informative. The reviewer has described the book in the best way possible.

A historical fiction novel about war and espionage set in the 1940's in Egypt sounds like an interesting read. Thanks for the detailed review.

I really like historic fiction book. The book is about the war of espionage. It focuses on the two Australian soldiers who fought the war against the Nazi and French in Lebanon and Syria. They are promoted and transfered to Cairo for intelligence work. The story is well suspenful and absorbing, with high spirited characters James and jack. I'll surely read this book someday. Great review.

I have always been fascinated with Egypt and the pyramids. This is most definitely not a book I would have chosen to read on my own as I am not usually interested in reading war stories, but your description of the story, as well as the themes of the book, have grabbed my attention. Thank you for the beautiful review.

I like stories about the military. Quite unfortunate the stories are also accompanied by war stories.

Greg did a great job creating imaginary scenes in the reader's mind with the help of James and Jack.

Well developed story and educative as well.

In addition, the characters are unique, exciting, and well developed particularly the focal characters, James and Jack. They are high-spirited and full of fun, and I enjoyed reading about them. The dialogues are realistic and can easily grip readers.
The kind of well-developed characters that you described really set a book apart, in any genre. Thanks for the recommendation!

I'm not a big fan of historical fiction novels, but I do like that the characters and plot seem to be well developed. The fact that this book takes place in Egypt makes this book sound even more interesting. Great job on your book review.

Sounds like a compelling book. I like books that show a character’s growth against the backdrop of a particular historical event. Even better when there’s war and espionage involved, along with compelling characters, like James and Jack. Great review; I may check this one out. :techie-studyingbrown:

Rosemary Wright wrote: 23 Mar 2018, 16:45 Lastly, this book is balanced since it consists of enthralling and sufficient conversations, action, and narration. It's engaging and worthwhile. Moreover, I couldn't find any fault with the novel and hence, I rate it 4 out of 4 stars. Undoubtedly, it will be a feast for fans of historical fiction blended with mystery and romance.
Australian troops fighting in Egypt, against the Germans. I can say that I have never read anything with this premise. With engaging writing, humor, romance, and music, how could you go wrong? I look forward to finding out more about these well-developed characters and the history of Egypt during this time period. Thank you for a very thorough review.

I've read this and what can I say, I loved the descriptions most of all. The plot and the old school spying also rocks.

Books on war are literally my least favorite books. The review is really nice but I don't think I'll be reading this.
