Otherwise, this book looks like something I'd like to check out! I haven't read it yet.

Romance isn’t normally my cup of tea, but sometimes we step out of our comfort zone, right? Trying new things... broadening our horizons.
It’s not technically romance. Maybe a thrilling spy novel? But then again, it doesn’t live up to that either.
Everything is easy for the US team. The CIA agent is absolutely unrealistic.
I don’t wanna ruin this for anyone with further details.
I gave it 1 out of 4 stars, because I personally believe the book was not good at all.

I rated this book 3 out of 4 stars. I couldn't put it down and had to keep reading, but I found grammar errors so I couldn't give it a perfect 4.

I wasn't a huge fan of Mercer's previous book of the month, but E-M-P Honeymoon was actually much better! It wasn't so romancey and had more action.diana lowery wrote: ↑02 Jan 2020, 08:57 I have to pass on this book. I read another book by this author and was not a fan. I did read the sample of EMP online just to give Mercer another chance, but I had the same reaction. I am happy that she appeals to other readers, but it is just not for me.

I agree! I usually enjoy sci-fi novels, especially ones dealing with space, but I didn’t really enjoy E-M-P Honeymoon that much. I feel like the romance label was misplaced within this novel, but it was at least an interesting read.
