Very good review. Historical fiction is not my favorite genre but your review made it sound much more than just another war story. I too enjoyed the main characters - especially 'Jako". Thank you. :tiphat:

a suspenseful and absorbing tale that is well written, easy to read, and full of fascinating historical details sounds great especially if it features spies, mysterious crime, and adventures. i'm definitely reading this. looking forward to knowing more about Egypt. great review!

Historical fiction is really not my genre, this on the other hand sounds interesting. Egypts History is nice and would want to knoe if Jack and James get to accomplish their mission in Cairo despite the challenges. Congratulations tp BOTD

The review of The Warramung's War by Greg Kater was entertaining in itself. I read the sample text and agree with her assessment of the book. I have read a type of this book before and counldn't get enough of the action and romance and intrigue. I am looking forward to reading this book as well. As I read the sample book, I was already liking Jacko. I enjoyed his a Lt. Munro's exchanges and sensed they would be a very entertaining pair.

It does sound like a very interesting tale from your description of this book, but I am not sure if I will read this, as I am not a big fan of historical fiction. However, I am certain historical fiction readers are going to enjoy this book.

I actually have seen this book previously among the list which was given for me to review, but I was in turmoil whether to choose it or not. Thanks to your review I am out of my misery. Thanks for the review and congratulations on being BOTD

It seems I have found a book that would just do well for me. I love historical fictions, but what caught my attention more was the guitar sheet that was added to the book. I think I'll just love every bit of it.

This is a beautiful and honest review, thanks for sharing...

The world of espionage is such a wonderful and exciting dark place to be in, what with all of the dangerous trysts and twists enough to take you on a spin of your life. The review was so well-written it effectively seduces one to immerse oneself to read the book.

This historical fiction about war and espionage sounds very suspenseful! I love that one of the settings takes place in Egypt and that many of the sites are well described! Congrats on book of the day! Great Review!

I usually love historical fiction but I’m not fan of war and espionage stories so I probably won’t add this to my reading list.

I was drawn into this book even though I'm not familiar with the Historical Fiction genre. The character descriptions are on point. The settings are described in a way that makes me feel like I'm there; and the evolving plot makes me want to read more than just a sample of the book.

It sounds like an interesting plot with James and Jack’s mission. I’m not usually a fan of war stories however. Thanks for your review.

I'm always particularly drawn to books with an Egyptian setting (it must stem from my want to be an archaeologist in my youth). I like books set in that time period. The rating was a perfect 4 out of 4 stars from me.
the book is very peaceful book a very fun to read
