I didn't really like the book. I firmly believe that if you are confused between two guys, then, neither of them is "the one".

I ended up giving Cynthia and Dan 3 out of 4 stars. At first I thought it would be lower, but once I really got into the story I couldn't stop reading to find out what happened next!

My least favorite part was the so-called romance aspect of the novel. I found it extremely cheesy and unsettling. I hated how both men in Cynthia's life treated her like a child.

I liked the cyber war aspect though. It was interesting to read about the subtle things that can be done to mess up websites.

I would recommend this book to others, but only if they like romance novels.

I enjoyed the cyber war part of the book and found it interesting, but hard to follow. Cynthia's love life was poorly written and thrown in I think to give it more of an appeal, which it lacked.

The development of the characters were another issue for me as they were thoughtless. Sky was unbelievable at best, as he was supposed to be a major in the armed forces but reduced to nothing more than a stalker, and love sick schoolboy. These characteristics truly turned me off from the character. Dan was only introduced in a negative and stalking light with no clear ending which disturbed me as well. The author attempted to make Cynthia this independent woman, but at the same time ditzy and clueless.

If it weren't for the adult themes I would possibly recommend this for a teenager, but I would not recommend it to another adult.
I agree with what you said about Sky! When they were talking about the major, and said his last name was scyler (maybe O spelled that wrong) I was like, oh maybe it's Sky! But then it didn't really seem like it could be him, based on the conflicting ways the characters were described.

My overall opinion is that the plot had potentials but I didn't really like the character development. The book was enjoyable to read but there was something missing, especially in Sky's case.

What is your overall opinion of the book? What do you like most about it? What do you like least? Will you recommend the book to other people? Why or why not?

Please remember to add your actual rating using the book's page on: Bookshelves.
The book is quite intriguing. What I like most is the fight against terrorism and the drones too. What I like least is that the relationship was more between Cynthia and Sky, not Cynthia and Dan, which is not in concordance with the title. I'd recommend the book because it's an interesting read.

I'd give it a 3 out of 4 stars because of the imperfection.

I loved the suspense's in Cynthia's life. There is always one crisis or the other. To me this book deserves a four star rating.

I would give the book a rating of 2 out of 4 stars. I find the events and interactions between Cynthia and Sky rather unbelievable.

I read a sample of the book. However I was not impressed by the story. The book cover was not very appealing too. I felt the book is not for me, thus there's no point reading the whole book.

It's the cyber part I don't really like and the fact that Dan who was also an important character was replaced at the speed of light. 3 out 4 stars.

After reading several chapters of the book, I feel that the characters are superficial and not interesting. Cynthia does not seem serious or developed enough to have the role of chief of security, investigator and body guard for a senator. It seems a bit unbelievable that Glenn would have access to high-tech methods and equipment so new that even the CIA does not have it. Sky seems arrogant and I found it a bit unbelievable that Cynthia would simply follow Sky to his place. However, the plot concept involving the terrorists and the cyber war is interesting. I am not planning to finish reading the book. However, I do not usually read romance novels. The writing style may be quite appropriate for that genre and those who enjoy romance novels and find the plot concept interesting may enjoy the book.

I wasn’t a fan of this book. I didn’t feel a connection to the characters at all, and I really didn’t like how clueless Cynthia was. It made it really hard for me to read.

I havent completed the book honestly, but I think the author didnt do enough research. Many areas were sadly poor developed. Grammar problems, tense, and incorrect antonyms are just a few issues. The book did not flow and I didnt really feel the technology and love themes.

Definitely 4 out of 4. I never read a book like this one that left me at the edge of my seat at all times. I simply loved it!

I have to give this one two out of four. The writing itself is very cliche and choppy; 'Dan burst into smiles' and random capitalization are examples of writing that took me out of the story.

Separating the sex scene as an 'at your own risk' chapter certainly disrupted the flow of the story, and it was like watching a boat on choppy waters, with fumbling text; 'she laid open her legs and went limp' is about the least erotic sentence I've ever seen in a sex scene.

The dialogue - "Daneeeeee noooooooo" - and all the howling and querying were super distracting. My MFA program always taught me if you need dialogue tags to show how your characters are feeling or behaving, you're not doing your job. Dialogue tags should be invisible, not something to focus the story around.

I'm going to keep plowing through this, but I don't think my rating will change substantially.
