Re: Your Favorite Comedian!
There probably isn't a more honest comedian on the today's stand-up circuit. He doesn't stand there and pretend like he enjoys kids-- he tells you that he thinks they're dumb creatures and he fully despises them. He lives to go out and screw with people and that's why people love him. He's the guy that does and says what most of us wish we had the balls to on a daily basis. He rants on why everything about why being white is great

On the stand up weeks and months on Comedy Central I see some unknown really funny comedians (there's still hope) but you're right this is the way to do stand up comedy.Williamz wrote:Louis C.K

It's changed greatly, it's generally centered on being brutally honest these days..
I'm thinking it's come from when the comedian would forget his joke or something and he'd say along the lines of "...Oh s***! I honestly can't remember the rest of my joke, night wrecked." and then that quote would actually become the joke, as if it's been planned all along. It's like the honesty has evolved and evolved to the point where you can say virtually anything!!
Ricky Gervais obviously being a large contributor in this game play

Modernisation eh?

I also really like Howie Mandel.
Yes, George Carlin was great too (too bad he died). Also saw him live.

The lady who played Archie Bunker's wife passed away this week - I remember when that show was just shocking!

One of my family member's ex-husband did landscaping for the Borge's in the 90s. My husband helped him one day and met Victor Borge. The comedian took quite a liking to my husband and chatted his ear off. Seemed like a nice guy.Bighuey wrote:Victor Borge, he was one in a million. Joan Davis was another one.
