Give Mariana Zapata a chance, she is in my opinion a queen of slow burn and build-up. But worth it.

Jennifer L. Armentrout is one of the best writers out there! I've enjoyed every book I've read of hers.

The Score (Off-Campus #3) by Elle Kennedy definitely took me by surprise! Hot hockey player turned soft boyfriend for his Allie-Cat!
Plus the sex scenes are so steamy.
This is the book for you if you are a hopeless romantic.
