I believe the version with the background color is more fitting for the fantasy genre than the minimalistic one. The colored background enhances the visibility of the cube and the mysterious element emerging from it, making it more intriguing and visually appealing.

The white cover is way too simple and it doesn't really fit the genre or the tone of the book. I really like the dark feel of the current cover.

I prefer the dark cover over the white one. The dark cover seems more visually appealing and representative of the book's vibe. Minimalist covers don't suit fantasy or science fiction books in my opinion. I feel like the white cover is more of a preliminary concept rather than a finished design.

I usually like light colours; however, in my opinion, the dark cover suits this book more accurately.

I prefer the new cover of "Demonslayer" because the new cover is more visually striking with its rich color palette and detailed design elements. The ornate frame and dark background create a more polished and professional look.

I definitely like the new cover of Demonslayer more because it is more intriguing , stimulating to eye, highlights attention and creates a sense of curiosity and wonder. It is obviously more prominent and visible as well. I really like it very much as it also goes well with the title and theme of the book.

I like the cover with the dark background since it actually depicts the title of the book in someway. Unlike the other one that feels bland.

The dark background makes it dull. I prefer the white one. It is inviting and makes one think the action is great.

While the previous cover has a simpler and more minimalist design, which can have its own charm, the new cover has a professional and polished look, so I'll go with the new cover.

I'd prefer the new cover, owing to the aesthetic qualities contained in it. It's obvious distinction makes it quite attractive, compared to the previous cover, which I find rather plain. I think book covers should attract readers to the book itself, even before they check out the synopsis or book reviews.

Laney, that's an interesting perspective. I also just observed that the dark background, in fact, let him observe the box undistracted. It perhaps brings into perspective why Ian wanted to foreground the aether more than depict a character.

The dark background is more relevant sith the title "Demonslayer". The eerie smoke emanating from the box also screamed "demon". It would definitely attract more readers.

I think that the new cover is better.
I always like a book with a darker color, as it stands out better.
I love the font that the author's name is in on the old cover though.
The white cover makes it look like someone has literally, just drawn it. Not as professional as the second cover.
