Thanks for an excellent review. I won't be reading this book. I'm not interested in reading about the fiction of deprivation.

Thank you for you post, kelseydwf. I loved your feedback. :tiphat:

cristinaro wrote: 19 Jan 2020, 12:41 The historical details on the Californian Gold Rush might be interesting, but I think I might get bored by a protagonist who seems to have no flaws. The missing villains could also equal a lack of suspense and excitement. Thanks for your review!
It is amazing to think about how regions that were desert or semi-desert developed so quickly because of the gold rush. Thanks for your feedback, cristinaro. :tiphat:

I tend to agree. Historical fiction is a fascinating genre. Thanks so much for your post. :tiphat:

ohlendorfbe wrote: 19 Jan 2020, 12:55 This book looks to me like it will be enjoyable. I always enjoy historical fiction, and this one, set in the old west during the gold rush, will be great fun! In the preview, I saw several antagonists, although it seems like one overarching antagonist would make it better. I'm definitely adding it to my TBR shelf. Thanks for a very informative review!
You will not regret it. Many thanks for your kind words. :tiphat:

I always thought that using big names is some sort of speculation, but in current case I beg to differ with my own conclusion. Description given is awesome, can't wait to read it!
The title is amazing, isn't it? Thanks for passing by, Tars. You are a dear. :tiphat:
