It is wrong to draft kids for war. Not only it will ruin their future life but there also no point doing it.

This is such an important topic. I do not believe in drafting kids for war. Kids are inexperienced and they should not be subjected to the horrors of war. This is very detrimental to one’s mental health and so many suffer from PTS and struggle to adjust to everyday life afterwards.

What can children really do that governments would even think they would be suitable candidates to fight wars? Desperate governments do this everytime they want to win a war at all cost. This idea is a bad one and it is very wrong to deliberately take children through such a traumatic experience as wars.

This should not be condoned or encouraged in any sane society. There must be laws enacted against this act.

If I have the power, I'll end this menace totally. As a person who experienced war in his era, I discovered the detriment of war on kids and the mental effects it has on them later in the future.

Drafting kids for war to me is a bad idea because they are not mature enough to experience such a thing it might affect their mental state.

If you had the power, would you end this menace? Or do you find reasons with the government for drafting young kids for war?
If I had the power I would end wars altogether. Kids need to enjoy their youth instead of scarring their memories with gory battlefields. The same goes for parents, whose duty should be to their families. Doing away with warfare is the only solution to ensure no one loses their kin to war.

I would end this menace as I don't think should be part of any war.

Drafting kids is a suicide mission. If I had the power to, I would end this behavior immediately. Kids should be developing and growing up, not fighting for their lives in a war they didn't choose.

Drafting kids for war, in my opinion, it is an evil thing. This s because kids are innocent and should not be subjected to war. For sure if I had power, this would end immediately.

Unfortunately, in today's world, it's necessary to have a strong military. The US has created one without having to resort to a draft. I am totally against the draft, but for compensating our military service men adequately during and after service. I just missed the draft in the early 70s - I had registered with the Selective Service and was issued a draft card. Fortunately, the draft was abandoned before they had a chance to call up my number. Also, the draft will not be met with much enthusiasm today - witness the resistance to the draft in Russia as eligible men flee the country rather than fight in a bogus war.

War is an emotionally traumatising concept. I so abhor it and I still don't see the need for it till this day. If I had the power to do so I would definitely stop kids from being drafted from war.

Drafting kids for war should never be an option no matter the urgency.
If laws can prohibit kids less than 21 from taking alcohol, why would the same law allow kids to join the army and go to war. That's outrageous! The damage is irreversible!

I don't even want to think of the consequences of drafting children for war. This will be the worst step any authority can make, as it will destroy them mentally an psychologically

There is no reason to justify the act of drafting kids for war. They have their rights, and no one, even the government, should draft them for war. If I was in a position, I would end it
