This story reminds me a lot of the Korean TV-serires: Descendants of The Suns, with the guy being in the military.

Btw, I don't think it's unbelievable that the main couple met in Europe and then meet each other again five years later in the girl's hometown. Maybe it's because that's exactly what happened to my parents. My parents lived in two different countries in Europe (Norway and Sweden), but met at a conference in France. They met again a year later in my mother's hometown in Vietnam (my mother was visiting her parents while my father was on vacation). It's kinda crazy now that I think about it haha

I am giving the book a try based on the Crossroad Reader's review. So far I have read chapter 1 and am not disappointed. But the fact that is not a clean cut dual point of view is bothering me slightly. The story has promise. Will see how it goes.

I will also post a full review when I finish the book.

Fate seems to be a popular tool in the romance genre, but odd things can and do happen :)

Thank you for your honest review Crossroads Readers. Seems like an interesting romance and a well thought story, except for how they met as you said Perhaps that was just the author trying to add a pinch of magic to the story

Thank you for the review. I love Mary J. Williams and have started the Harper Falls Series, but I have yet to read Book 2. This sounds like a great continuation since I loved Book 1 so much!

If Tomorrow Never Comes is the second book in the Harper Falls series. However, it would not be necessary to read the first book, as If Tomorrow Never Comes can easily be read as a standalone book. The author, Mary J Williams, did a wonderful job writing a beautiful and compelling romance novel. Unlike typical romance books, this one held elements of mystery, surprise, and suspense

Personally, I'm not a fan of romance books. However, your review was really interesting. This book sounds like quite a good read and I will consider checking it out!

Yes this book is worth reading.
Second chance romance is something a lot of people dream, but only a few give it a real chance.
