My go-to genre is either inspiration or christian fiction. When I need a new book to read I will generally go for a Karen Kingsbury book or whatever inspiration book looks interesting. I like these genres because they really do pull me into the story and keep me guessing about what is going to happen next. I like them because these books characters always have me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what is going to happen next or make me feel like I am apart of them and there story. I love being apart of the story I am reading and I love to be able to imagine myself in the shoes of the characters.
