I can believe that. When I try to pick them off my dog, they disappear. They use compressed air to jump. I know a little about fleas, my dogs get infested with them and I look up stuff to fight the little buggers. I spray the dogs with vinegar every couple days, that helps but they smell like dill pickles.

I love dill pickles! However, I do not think I would lick your dog just because he smells like them  :? Well, maybe if I was really hungry and he was warm enough. I do enjoy pickles with my hot dogs!

I love dill pickles too, but not on a dog. Fleas dont either.

Dont know for sure if this is BS or not, but Jackie Gleason claimed his good friend bandleader Tommy Dorsey could throw an egg up in the air and have it land on a lawn without breaking, but he could only do it when he was drunk. He couldnt do it while sober.

When he was drunk is when he probably used a golf ball instead of the egg. ;)

Gleason was probably drunk, too.

In Alta, Utah they get several feet of snow there, this guy stuck stovepipes in the snow and sold the lots as having houses on them. When the snow melted, guess what. No house, just a rusty stovepipe.

Did you know that a scene in the Steve McQueen movie, Bullitt, contained the
venues of
some of the most significant contributions to San Francisco's cultural history.
All of them were near or at the intersection of Columbus and Broadway Streets in
North Beach. They include The Hungry Eye, El Condor, The Jazz Workshop, Cafe
Vesuvio, City Lights Bookstore, and Finnochio's. The Eye was Lenny Bruce's favorite
venue, The Workshop featured Jazz icons such as Eddie Harris and Thelonius Monk.
City Lights was the home of The Beats(still is). Allen Ginsberg and Lawrence Ferlinghetti were arrested there when Ginsberg refused to stop reading his controversial poem, Howl, aloud. Cafe Vesuvio was Charlie Bukowski's favorite
watering hole whenever he was in SF. Wowsers.

The photos of the aftermath of the battle of Gettysburg were all staged. Bodies of dead soldiers were set up, dragged around to make them more photogenic.

To add to this factoid...
This is because it is an empathic response...

What is grief, if not love persevering?

Grief is just love with no place to go.

So not as much yawning then if you are having a fight I would assume. That seems about right.

The infamous(depends on whether you were a Loyalist or not) Robert Capa black
and white photograph of the dead Partisan suspended in a tree(his entire body
and firearm) was certainly staged. It was presented to the world by Look
magazine on a front cover during the Spanish Civil War.

DYK that The Kingfish, Amos, Andy, and Algonquin J. Calhoun all belonged to the same Lodge? The Mystic Knights of The Sea.
