From your review, the book shows that real friendship knows no bounds especially given the fact that the women are not of the same age. Great review

I'm sorry, but I don't care for books that include a gaggle of female friends, and I especially don't want to read one that includes fly fishing.

It is an interesting story of Four sisters who shared a common sport of flying fish. Great review.

From a sampling, I know this will be a good book. It is always entertaining to read about fishing and how it connects different people/characters in the story. Well Done.

I read and reviewed the full narative which is made of a group of women embarking on an outdoor sport. They were fly fishing which allowed them to cooperate and share their challenges together.

I like the personalities of these five women, but I have no interest in fishing.

Great review. A story about women and friendships and the sport of fly fishing. While growing up most of the people who I fished with were men but the mother of one of my best girlfriends loved taking us fishing and it was a fun way to spend an afternoon and just different from going with the men. Congrats to the author on a terrific review. Thanks so much for sharing.

I really enjoyed this book when I read and reviewed it. As for what category, I think that I found it would be part of the women's fiction genre since the protagonists are women.

Great review. I did a review on this book a while back, and I am glad to see you liked it as much as I did. The women's friendship was the focal point and fly-fishing their venue. I loved the characters and could relate to each of them in some way or another. Thanks for your thoughts.

Based on the review, "The Reel Sisters" sounds like a story that has great character development with interesting information about fly fishing weaved throughout the book. I especially like that the reader can experience the unique perspective and struggles of each woman; and if the readers are in similar situations, then they might experience catharsis.

Thanks for the great review!

Thank you for your review. I'm not sure whether I would like to read about the process and experience of fishing - especially if it's been written in detail. Besides that, it sounds like an interesting story. I like that it's about four different women who have their own set of challenges. It allows a lot of different readers to be able to relate to at least some of the challenges. I'm especially interested in Sophie's life and how she raises her two children. I think I might give this book a read :)

Books that take me away from reality rather than face it are the ones usually up my alley. Rarely do I find wanting to read a book that I think would engage my heart even more than my mind and this is book is more of the former. I already read a few pages of the sample and was definitely intrigued with the fly fishing story line but what reeled me to wanting to read the book was definitely the relationships between the characters and their journey to self-discovery. Thank you for the great review. I like that it shed light on some of the characters' problems, their path to development and I also like that I will get to pick up nuggets of wisdom and encouragement along the way! I very much found your review enlightening. Once again, thank you for the wonderful review. :)
