Grief is an emotion we all experience and it sounds like this children's book identifies the stages of grief so we can hopefully heal and move forward. Great review!

Sock Lobsters ~ is a Wonderful Children's Book which tells of an elderly lady knitting her granddaughter a pair of socks, which look like lobsters. One sock name is Sebastian and the other Lola. Well-illustrated.

Recommended for young readers, and adults. Gentle and full of wisdom. Professionally edited. Bright and Compelling pictures. Humorous. Very engaging.

I've got kids coming to visit this summer and this book sounds perfect for the reading list. Grief is a touchy topic for little ones, so the more gentle information they can get, the better.

Well written review. It makes children aware that we can lose people or things in our lives and how to handle that loss.

Thank you for your wonderful review and for sharing about your cat with us. I think we have all had times we have questioned ourselves. My grandma used to knit for children long ago. It brought back a nice memory. Grief is so hard for many of us. Even though I do love children's books, your review made me want to read it even more.

I like how you explained Sebastian and Lola. Another thing is I get your point about grandmother, I never liked how they are usually seen as.

Seems like a decent attempt to teach children to learn about grief. That's a refreshing alternative to stories that focus only on life's positives and thus don't equip kids well.

This is such a cute and unique concept for a book
I’ll definitely describe this as refreshing because it’s very different from the most of other plots Iv read

This sounds like an amazing story. I like how the author gently approached the stages of grief in a way kids reading the book won't find too upsetting. Great review.

This sounds like a cute children's story and I like the creativity of the author. I think that young children would most love this book and enjoy the colorful pictures within it. I also like that the characters are portrayed very realistically and could be easily identified within a family setting.

What a unique story to teach children about loss. I love that it is a sock that is lost - one sock will inevitably be missing. Thanks for the thorough review!
