'Fleeing with Ki, towards whom she had developed strong feelings, led her to his dwelling among the Indians, creating a life different from the one she had previously known.'
This sounds like an exotic romance story. I've always loved reading about the historical Indians during the American revolution.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting historical fiction set during the American Revolution following an English woman who escapes with a Native American named Ki from an abusive husband. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

I don't know much about the Revolutionary War. The premise of this book is interesting. The exotic romance between Julia and Ki during this challenging time is fascinating, making it more dramatic love story. Thank you for a nice review.

Love always comes first but I doubt he would put Julia before his clean. This book "The Indian and Me" by Cathy DesRosiers Peebles has an interesting premise, and it is certainly worth being the book of the day.

'Official Review: The Indian and Me' by Cathy DesRosier's Peebles has an intriguing introduction. It brings to our knowledge the important plot points. The point that the narrative centers on Julia Rainsford, a highborn woman from England whose life is about to undergo a significant change is worth mentioning in the review. Each character in the book has a captivating story that elicits a range of emotions from readers. The book imparts valuable lessons on resilience, love, hope, and the strength to take control of one's life when faced with uncertain situations. It was great to learn that this is the story of historical romance and revolutionary fiction!

I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out how the relationship of Ki and Julia will pan out given the many difference in their cultures race and beliefs.

Great review! If you already want to read this book again, that says a lot about the book. I have always been interested in Indian culture since I was a child. I will definitely pick this one up and read it.

The Indian and Me is a poignant love story featuring an Indian and a wealthy white woman during the American Revolution. The protagonist, Julia, must overcome several hurdles, including kidnapping, and it is through her struggles that we will discover if love conquers all. I enjoyed your lovely review.

I believe the reviewer did a thorough job. The event of maltreatment by Julia husband is an annoying twist. The book looks interesting and I will read just as the reviewer encouraged.

I love historical fiction and this story sounds compelling, the errors, though, make me hesitant to want to pick this one up.

This book is very entertaining and enlightening. It not only is a wonderful historical novel; it is an adventure, a love story, and a “hold your breath” kind of read. It is packed full of Revolutionary War details, along with many stories about the captives of the different Indian nations.
Congrats on BOTD!

Adventurous romance. The book seems good. The fact that it also includes different religions so that the book will such things. And the book is set in historical preface where the wars and events were adminant. Also the suspense of will Julia and ki be together or what will hold more importance keeps an edge of suspense.

Thank you for the informational review. I'm glad you liked it. I also liked the sample I had read and the character development. Though history isn't my favorite genre or subject, I do think that was an interesting time and I like to read about the Indians. They had to be very tough to survive. After reading your review, I decided to add it to my list of books to read so I can find out what happens to everyone.
