This sounds like a delightful story that inspires kids to connect with nature and embrace teamwork. With enchanting characters, a garden adventure, and beautiful illustrations, it seems ideal for children to enjoy and learn from. Congrats on BOTD!

Great review! I love that this book sets out to inspire young children to be curious about nature. If the illustrations throughout are anything like the cover, it will be beautiful.

I'm a gardener, so I resonate with the journey Adele is going to go on with reviving this garden in her backyard. The design and aesthetic of this children's book has the perfect font, font-family and style to keep young readers engaged. Congrats to the author for having the BOTD.

I'm greatly like this book, it's inspiring those who are afraid to face, challenge of making new friends. The best part of it Adele was easy to make friends and fortunately she got best friends who gave her a hand along the journey.

A children's book that's entertaining and educational is, in my opinion, always the best kind of children's book. Caring for the environment is crucial and if kids are involved in this from an early age, the next generation is able to preserve what is essential for our survival. Thank you for your informative review.

I wonder what Adele will find in her new home, will the garden be magical? I love that Adele is the one reviving it, as children are often not interested in that type of activities. I am excited to learn more about Squiggle and Lulu.

Thanks for the informational review. I'm glad you liked it. I enjoy children's books especially when they have such great lessons in them. I also enjoyed the illustrations, though the picture of the new house at the beginning in black and white made me imagine what it might be like. I was glad to see the others were in color then. This sounds like a great learning and entertainment book. I have added it to my list of books to read.

This book makes me think about a cross between The Secret Garden and Alice in Wonderland. The magic of discovering a secret garden where you can get away.

Encourage positive values and creativity in children, while motivating them to learn and explore. It is an effective way to teach children about collaboration and the value of learning from others.

“Adele and the Whispering Garden” by Polly Richards is a story about a young girl named Adele and her move to a new home with a rundown garden with great potential. Adele makes friends with Squiggle and Lulu along the way and they help her revive the garden. This book will help children learn about education, resilience and motivation. Every time Adele down about the progress being made in the garden, she is motivated to be resilient to her goals for the garden. The illustrations throughout the story really help and will make the story easier to understand for 7- to 9-year-olds. Adele has a lot to learn about herbs and flowers but with help from the friends she meets along the way the garden is destined to be bountiful.
