I'm not sure I would like this book as I tend to dislike the type of shift in narratives you described. However, I appreciate your interesting review.

I do read romance novels every now and then. This book has an interesting plot, like a love triangle thing which makes for a good read. I enjoyed reading the review.

Love can be complicated, then you add in a love triangle and emotions heat up. Alexis sounds like she's struggling with matter's of the heart and not choosing the best reaction to her current circumstance. Thanks for the review!

Highway to Love by Dani Burk
What a disappointment! The introduction read was too short! I was really getting into the story funny, cute and enough twist to the love angle to be a fantastic read.
I give this book 4 out of 4 stars If there was a 5-star rating I would give the book 5 stars. What a wonderful way to meet the future man in your life. The author gives you just enough of the description of the characters to allow your imagination to picture what they look like.
I started the story thinking ok and ended up engrossed in the budding love story of the two couples. I could not stop reading, so my animals had to wait an extra 30 minutes to be feed and watered. If the example had been longer the animals would have waited longer.
I bought the book.

Alexis sounds like one wonderful character with how she behaves. I wonder whom she chose at long last. Thanks for the enthralling review. I am not a big fan of romance genre so I might skip this.

I'm a fan of romance but I like my female leads mature and independent. I don't think I'd like Alexis' character so I will pass on this one. Thank you for the review!

This book starts out well and really grabs my attention. I’m dismayed at the review and how the main character develops into something not quite as independent as I like the female characters to be. However, I might give it a try anyway because it does sound like a good read overall.

I agree mostly with the review.....there was a spoiler that was aluded to that Joe had to rescue her and she was acting like a damsel in distress....In the sample it hadnt gotten to that part unless you were referring to them meeting for the 1st time but I dont think that was the case because you said Joe helps his friend....The review made me want to keep reading to find out what happens....thanks....I was intrigued to find out the next dilemna and to see the relationships develop.....i would have liked to know more detail about how Richard was lacking in the bedroom department....I will definately want to read the rest of the book.....Very well written review and book....Thanks again

I think it is a good romance book, the way it evokes different in fact making the reader angry with the main character is quite creative. Thank you for the review. Congrats to the book of the day.

This book is not quite my type of read, but, I'm sure, fans of the genre would appreciate it :) I also hope the author fixes all the editorial errors. Thank you for a great review!

I'm not a fan of romance novels so I won't be reading it but it does bring up some real-life issues.

Today's BOTD is a great summer read for all you romance fans! Set in Chicago, these characters are relatable with complicated relationships and decisions to make, just like us. Sounds like quite the page turner! Thanks for the review! :-)
