I love a good mystery, and I also appreciate well-developed characters. The story sounds incredibly intriguing, and I can't wait to dive in!

Approaching storms often invoke horror and suspense, and it looks like this book does a good job at those. It also appeals to Catholic readers with its characters.
I write the best reviews possible. :idea2:

This will be an interesting book, and I am curious to know if the storm affected New Orleans and how they managed it.

I love a good mystery. It sounds like Jim's interactions with Myriam, Erin, and Sheila highlight the city’s vibrant yet unpredictable nature, emphasizing the balance between seeking solace and confronting underlying dangers amid an impending storm.

How is attorney Jim Hampton's life going to turn? With the storm, Anita is about to cause havoc. What is in store for him? He meets Erin and Sheila and ends up in a junkie's home where his life seems to be in danger. The story has hints of horror and seems interesting.

I can feel a sense of horror from the review. The peculiar atmosphere of incoming Storm Anita makes me feel there's something unusual. Attorney Jim's encounter with a Catholic woman seems like the path for him to choose but he deviated by going to bar and entertaining Erin and Sheila that brought about chaos in his life.

The bottom line is that no matter how lost you are, there is always a way to find yourself again, whether with God, with yourself, or with the path you really need to follow

Jim was one of the lawyer by profession, Jim loved fun so much and he even forgot to take care of himself. I'm really agree with above statement because he was taken and robbed by Sheila and Erin and they robbed him to purchase drugs for them

Hi @Bethel Saint Bright, I just read your comments on the official review of “Intercessor” by John Robert Still and I could not tell what story you were reviewing. Your comments should reflect that you read the official review and the sample so that the Administrative Review Team can see that you read the official review and the sample, i.e. This is a story about an attorney named Jim Hampton who spent 15 years of his career on chemical spills and other disasters in Louisiana. He traveled to New Orleans and is watching George’s house, a friend from law school, while he is away in Europe. Jim sensed that something seemed odd in New Orleans. Was it a potential storm or a horrific hurricane like Katrina. He stopped at a local bar run by Carlos and had a few drinks and then he went to another bar where he met Myriam, a woman that worked at the bar. They had a friendly conversation and she invited Jim to follow her the next day to see her family in Terrebonne Parish. He accepted but was still uneasy because he had been cautioned to be careful by Carlos and Myriam. After seeing Myriam home, he stopped at another bar and met Erin and Shiela, two interesting women that invited him to accompany them to a party. When they arrived, he learned that it was a drug indulging party and the two women wanted him to buy drugs for them. He refused and Erin cursed him and hoped he would die with a woman. Is Erin a witch? This is a very exciting story filled with many people that are affected by Jim’s decisions. Storm Anita was bearing down on New Orleans so Jim sensed a bad omen from Erin and Shiela. One would think this is a horror story but it is really a story about people that have fallen off the path to faith, and they have opportunities to come back to believing in God. Most of the characters are Catholic and do not hesitate to reveal their love of God and the Virgin Mary. Jim is obviously an alcoholic and he has several drinks at each bar he visits so this could offend some readers. The sample and official review were excellent. @Mrlefty0706
