My books keeps getting damaged - Need your help

Post by midnightbookworm »

Hi Friends, i commute 1 hour to work so my commute everyday is 2 hours to and from work. I use this time productively as i always bring a book with me to read.

A major problem i have is my books keeps getting damaged in my bag   ( bents pages, scratches, leaking water onto pages etc..)

Is this a common problem among book lovers?

What are your fixes?

An obvious solution would be an E-reader, Kindle etc, but if you prefer books the only suggestion I have is to buy a bigger bag that has a separate compartment where you can store your book. As for water damage.....put it in a poly bag.

Pretty much this. I also have a tendency to put books in my bag spine first. As long as I put nothing on top of it, the pages remain relatively undamaged.

Get yourself a Bible cover to carry the book in. This will keep it separate from all of the other stuff that might normally damage it when you put it in your bag.
