What book would you love to see be turned into a movie?

POLL ANSWER: NO
When a book is turned into a movie, I'm usually disappointed. I'm a vivid reader. What I mean by that is I create the sound of each characters voice in my head and what they should look like. More often than not the actors don't match up. Even worse is when producers adjust scenes to accommodate for movie production! Never fails they cutout a scene from the book I love!

With all that in mind. I have high hopes that ABARAT by Clive Barker and that series would be astounding to see as movies! I think it would be in the wheelhouse of Tim Burton, dark and twisty in a whimsical sense! This is an illustrated book and the majority of the characters are creatures of sorts, so finding the perfect actor wouldn't necessarily be an issue due to makeup. The plot line I believe is condensed enough that it could fit into a Movie without having to accommodate for production too much.

Currently, my current read "flat top mountain ranch" would make a good movie.
Because a movie, despite being the cut version of the book, in some way ironically brings out the major aspects of the book thus enhancing the clarity of the book
