The Illuminae Series by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman definitely. It was even more disappointing because supposedly there was a movie in the talks, but it never happened. Another series is The Fairy Tale Series by K.M. Shea just because it reminds me of the Avengers meet the Disney Princesses and I think that's such a cool concept.

Pachinko by Min Jin Lee. I heard there was supposed to be an Apple series coming but I'm not so sure. Anyway, it's such a good book and if ever they make a movie out of it, I desperately hope it comes from a South Korean studio and not an American one.

I agree with you on this! I would like to see this book and its series as a film adaptation.
