The Ezekiel Code by Gary Val Tenuta
Established authors, as well as those starting out should take a good look at this book and see the new face of competition - Gary Val Tenuta.
Gary Val Tenuta's The Ezekiel Code is one of those books. It is tremendous.
This book is a compilation of so many philosophies, theories, New Age info, ancient sects, biblical prophecies - it is everything I have ever read about rolled into an exciting book. The pace is a hold your breath, I can't stop reading type of book.
Zeke Banyon is running the Seattle Gospel Mission- a homeless shelter - He was going to be a priest, but changed his mind and is serving in this capacity. The folks at the Mission call Zeke Father anyway...
Zeke wasn't supposed to be named Ezekiel, but the night before his mother gave birth, she had a strange dream and was told if she has a son to name him Ezekiel..and she did.
Zeke needed an assistant to help him organize the Shelter - a young woman, Angela Martin seems to fit perfectly and takes the job. She is a whiz - she helps organize, clean, and even brings a computer into Zeke's life -
When Zeke can see the bottom of his desk (haven't we all been in that situation?), he sees an old large desk calendar, where Zeke sees doodles, and some kind of writing about numbers...strange series of numbers and phrases tied into those numbers...
Angela and Zeke are enthralled - the more they play with these numbers, the more they want to know - They start a journey that encompasses a mysterious code, and references to the Ezekiel Code...Remember your Old Testament? Ezekiel is the man who saw flying wheels moving in the air - described what many feel are UFO's Ezekiel had a close encounter of the third kind???
Zeke and Angela find there have been others who have discovered hidden information in numbers...and they see a pattern. There well may be the true Ezekiel Code -
Many pieces from many sources fit together and find a mystery of biblical proportions- there are powers at work here and there is something that must be done with the unraveling knowledge to save our world...There are people within the church who do not want this information known, and there are an ancient group of guardians, The Nine, who want the information known..There is a Chosen One who will complete what needs to be done - The prophecy says his name will be Ezekiel and this man was almost a priest - seems like our friend Zeke is 'The Chosen One'.
The idea of synchronicity comes into play here - when the right people are needed, they enter - the discovery blossoms, the right people enter and the information unfolds before Zeke, Angela, and their group- all synchronicity - no coincidences -
There are so many philosophies, ideas, you will find yourself getting into the action - playing with numbers in the numeric code, and find yourself googling more than a few things mentioned in the book.
The ancient Mayan prophecy that the earth will end 12/21/2012 comes into play looming and handled in wondrous style...
You don't have to be an expert on anything - just sit back, fasten your seatbelt, and get ready to zoom into one of the best and enjoyable books you will ever read.
It was no coincidence that I read this book.
You will find The Ezekiel Code an amazing read - it is almost 700 pages long, but you will not want to stop reading - big book - fast read...
I look forward to Mr. Tenuta's next book.
You can see the tremendous research he has done, and it totals out into one of the best reads that you will ever remember.
