The Other Boleyn Girl: Philippa Gregory

Post by Chough02 »

This book is definitely on my top five favorite books of all time! This is because this book opened up a whole new genre to me. Historical Fiction. This book was so intriguing from the very beginning. I love the drama of the love triangle between the King and the two sisters, Mary and Ann. It had so many compelling characters and such a great time line. The plot is of course tragic but its like a train wreck you just cant stop watching. I've read it several times and I just keep hoping that the end will change and cross my fingers they will change their mind just in time to save Ann's life. Despite all the terrible things she does, the author helps you sympathize with her and Mary.
