Hi! I am new but I didn't know where to ask a few questions.

For instance, does the member score reset each month?

Can someone explain Rule 13? I tried asking these questions elsewhere but there was no 'reply' option in those threads.

I have read over the FAQs and learned quite a bit that I was wondering. However, what is your advice for a someone new to OBC? I love to read and write, so I think I really belong here, but I would love to hear about your experiences and thoughts.

Welcome!

To reset your score, you need to press the "recheck" button.

Rule 13 refers to authors. One can't be a reviewer and submit his own book for review at the same time.

No, it doesn't reset, ever. It will change, though, as you make posts and do reviews. Hopefully the number will go up and and up and up, but sometimes it goes down. Never back to zero though. I would hope. Otherwise, we would never get top level reviewers!
