Nowhere to Run by Jeanne Bannon is a Romantic Mystery filled with page after page of mystery, humor, life, faith and romance all in wrapped into one. The characters of this book bring to life a sense of what tragedy, love, and honesty mean to different people and how each deal with it.
This story brings to light Lily, a regular girl next door, living in a small town, just trying to get through life after the tragic murder of her sister Sara. To top it off, Lily is the prime suspect in her sister’s murder. Then in walks Aiden. Strong, tall, handsome and a PI to boot he is brought in by the local Sheriff to find out whether or not Lily really did kill Sara. Brought together under the worst of circumstances Lily and Aiden try to find out whether their connection to one another is stronger than the ones trying to tear them apart.
The author does a really great job keeping the reader interested throughout the entire book. She dives into the lives of the two very strong, very independent, very opposite people and brings about a sense of unity between these two opposites. This book had a very strong emotional sense of faith and life after death that added another level to it that made reading this a complete joy.
The author’s attention to detail and small almost nonexistent hints throughout the story add to the tale these two go through just to try and make it out alive. The struggles between right and wrong, faith and trust, and whatever else life throws at you is very well written. With twists and turns and heart stopping events throughout, this book had me from beginning to end. I truly loved every minute of it.
I give this book 4 out of 4 stars. This is a book for anyone who loves a good mystery, roots for the underdog or just wants a sweet romance to win out when the odds seem stacked against them. It’s for anyone who has struggled with an uphill battle and made it out the other side. It’s for anyone who thought of whether or not there was life after death and how it affects the rest of us. This book has it all. This author was a complete joy to read and I looking forward to reading more from her in the future.

Although Mystery is my favorite genre, I do love a little Romance mixed in.
After reading your review I can tell that Nowhere to Run has both. You had my interest peaked from the 1st few sentences. Can't wait to read it.
Thanks
