Review of Reapers Stand by Joanna Wylde The Reapers MCseries

Post by Mandy129 »

I have read all books from this series and this one drug on a little with too much "filler" compared to previous Reapers books. This book focused on the president of the MC and his love life! What I like about this series is you don't have to read them in order to get them, but they do "tie-in" together. That actually made the series even better because while focusing on the main characters she also adds in the others from previous books that you know and love/hate. It was good and I read it just as fast as the others, but this one was more about the events surrounding the 2 main characters' getting together and not enough of them actually "getting together". I only say this because because the previous books were pretty hot!!! I really did enjoy the book after about the 3rd chapter, lots of twists in this one that kind of made up for the lack of "heat". This series is actually this first ever of any of romance novels I have ever read! Actually I have never had the desire, Joanna Wylde does a great job of changing my mind, I'm excited for her next one in November!

This was my least favorite of the Reapers MCse. I thought parts of the story were not realistic to true life. I agree with Mandy 129, I wanted more of the "get together" stuff and less of the main characters dancing around each other. Overall, love Joanna Wylde's work, Reapers Legacy is my favorite of her books. Love it.
