Can anyone give me the names books or authors that write similar stories. I absolutely love the family sagas especially where the heroes of the story go from rags to riches, from ignominy to fame and you live with them and their struggles. Ken Folletts World Without End was also great. Any ideas?

"Theirs Was the Kingdom" R. F. Delderfield. About the Swann Family, set in early 20th century Britain, industry giants struggling throughout generations. Long but good, lots of history lots of character. Or you could try "A Tale of The Wind" by Kay Nolte Smith. 19th century Paris, loveable characters, a cameo by Victor Hugo ...
I'll try to think of some more. I am interested in reading World Without End but haven't gotten there yet. Hope this helps!
