What do people think of web novels?

I've been on a huge web novel binge for over a year now. It all started by listening to horror short stories on YouTube. Eventually, I worked up to listening to Sci-fi stories. Found out they're read from Reddit posts so I tracked them down before finally finding web novel sites. I currently follow 31 stories, some of which are among my favorite books I've ever read. But, I don't see anyone really talking about them here, so I thought I'd ask.

What do people think of web novels here? Books that originated as web novels?
