Love Lives Again by Teresa Cage is an intriguing love story that follows Lissa, Steve, and Dan. Lissa and her parents move to California for her parents’ jobs. She just finished college and wants to get her doctorate in archaeology. However, she is taking the summer off from school and work. She decides to try out for a Renaissance Faire and ends up getting a pretty important role. She finds out that it is not a volunteer position but is paid. She enjoys her time at the faire and begins to get to know everyone there. She meets Steve and Dan, two knights, at the faire. She is immediately attracted to and drawn to Dan. Steve is also attractive, and he reaches out to her first. They begin to date, even though Lissa feels like Dan might be better for her. All the while, she keeps having these dreams where she is living in different time frames, possibly her past lives. During these dreams, she begins to connect that Dan and Steve are also there, just as different humans. She cannot figure out what is happening and begins to look into past life experiences. The more she has the dreams and the closer she gets to Dan and Steve, the more and more she is convinced that she has been on this earth with both of them before, living out the love triangle they find themselves in now.

I give this book a 3 out of 5 rating. The concept of this book drew me in. I was hoping it would be filled with suspense and excitement. However, a lot of the book is Lissa’s inner thoughts, which repeat quite a bit. In the beginning, the chapters were short, but she was still able to ramble a lot during those chapters. There were a lot of times that she would flip between loving Steve and not liking him at all with no explanation. Towards the end of the book, it makes sense because of a gift that Steve has given her; however, she goes through these emotions throughout the whole book without much of a reason for them. I wish there had been more time between Lissa and Dan throughout the book. I feel like their relationship did not have the chance to grow but was strong anyway. The way that the book ends feels like there is some resolution, but there is still a lot up in the air, which I am not a fan of. I understand that this could be so that the author could make another book, but I wish it felt more final, or at least had a warning that it was part of a series. There were a lot of editorial errors throughout the book that were distracting at times. Also, in the beginning, the author would switch between Lissa saying I and me to it being about her and saying she and her. The whole book is from Lissa’s point of view, so the change in wording did not make sense. I liked the storyline and friendships throughout the book. The idea of these three characters being together in past lives was exciting for me. I liked the historical information about the Renaissance Faire. The book has great potential to draw readers in and keep them excited.

I would recommend this book to fans of romantic stories. It is mildly romantic with only kissing, so it is appropriate for young adults and adults alike. This book is also good for those who are interested in past lives, Renaissance Faires, and historical information.

"Love Lives Again" seems to blend romance with intriguing elements of past lives and historical settings, making it appealing for readers interested in these themes. The inner conflicts and relationships add depth, though some repetitive elements and unresolved aspects may leave readers wanting more closure. Overall, it appears to offer a unique twist on the love triangle trope within a backdrop of Renaissance Faire culture and past life connections.

Well, darlin', based on this review, it seems like Love Lives Again by Teresa Cage is a decent read. The concept of past lives and a love triangle is mighty intriguing. However, the book seems to have some rambling and repetitive inner thoughts from the main character, which might be a bit tiresome. There were also some pesky editorial errors that can be distracting. Nevertheless, if you're a fan of romance and are interested in past lives and Renaissance Faires, this book might just tickle your fancy. Overall, I'd give it a solid 3 out of 5 rating. Happy reading, pardner! Compelling drama, unfolded with intensity and depth.

Your review of Love Lives Again by Teresa Cage offers a balanced perspective on what to expect. The intriguing premise of a love story intertwined with themes of past lives and historical settings at a Renaissance Faire certainly grabs my attention. Lissa's journey of self-discovery, her romantic entanglements with Steve and Dan, and the mysterious dreams linking them to different time periods sound fascinating.
