I dreamed

At least I dared to dream
In the night so hard it seemed.
Though I couldn’t make it far, at least I dared to dream.

Even when the fears were loud. My eyes, my lips, my skin drought.
I decided to go through it, without a doubt.
Though, I didn’t make it far, I was able to think about the stars.

I had nothing but empty hands in dust.
At least I took it that far, I had the will and thirst.
I came across the pain and hurt.
At least I tried with empty hands in dust.

In night so hard it seemed,
At least I dared to dream, I dreamed.
