The last book I read was "Shameless" by Brian Tyler Cohen and it was completed October 4, 2024. The book investigates Republicans' deliberate dysfunction and the battle to preserve democracy. An outstanding book that deserves a 5 out of 5-star rating. @Mrlefty0706

The last book I read was "Ministry of Truth" by Steve Benen and it is an investigation of democracy, reality, and the republicans' war on the recent past. We are living in chaotic times and our democracy could end if Trump wins in November. I completed this book on September 30, 2024, and it clearly deserves a rating of 5 out of 5-stars. @Mrlefty0706

The last book I read was "Capture or Kill" by Vince Flynn and Don Bentley and I completed it on September 15, 2024. This is the last book in the Mitch Rapp series and Vince Flynn who passed away a few years ago will definitely be missed. The Mitch Rapp books are action packed and keep readers on the edge of their seat from the first page through the last page of the book. I give this book a rating of 5 out of 5-stars. @Mrlefty0706

I read the book Baptism By Blood by an Indian writer Rohit Ramachandran. It's an interesting novel about three men finding their path to redemption while facing the most violent night of their lives. Biblical undertones and dark humour is excellent. 4 out of 5 stars.

The last book that I read and completed on 10/02/2024 was "A Calamity of Souls" by David Baldacci. I have read most of Baldacci's books and this one is excellent. The story takes place in Southern Virginia in 1968, and it is based on a racially charged murder case. I rate this book 5 out of 5-stars. @Mrlefty0706

The last book that I read and completed on 10/08/2024 was "The Demon of Unrest" by Erik Larson. He also wrote "The Devil in the White City" which was an incredible story that took place during the Chicago World's Fair. His new book focuses on Abraham Lincoln at the time of his presidential election in 1860 and the start of the Civil War at Ft. Sumter. I rate this book 5 out of 5-stars. @Mrlefty0706

The last book that I read was "The Remarkable Journey of Coyote Sunrise", by Dan Gemeinhart. It is actually a middle-grade book, but I found the story very enjoyable and I'm planning to read the 2nd book in the series.
