When I'm clearly reading and for some reason that's the moment everyone decides that's the perfect time to have a long drawn out conversation about absolutely nothing. Especially, when its's a particularly good part of the book!

When I fall asleep during my reading. Which happens every time. It just makes me so relaxed and sometimes too relaxed.

People talking to you when they can clearly see you are reading. Also, being called for dinner a million times when fully immersed in an exciting part of the book. I'll get there when I'm ready.

I definitely agree with most people here - the chatter is the worst thing for me by far. Just when I'm at the best part of my book and my wife starts calling me. Extremely frustrating.

When your 10% battery warning pops up, so you have to go sit on the floor within 2 feet of the outlet to prevent your Kindle from dying.
Also, when you find an amazing comfortable position to lounge in but the Kindle can't decide whether it needs to display in portrait or landscape based on the angle you're holding it.

I agree with so many of these! I too suffer from falling asleep while I'm reading. That's the worst. Like a couple of the others, though, I do a lot my reading on public transportation. In general it's pretty quiet, but drives me nuts if there's just that ONE person talking loudly on their phone. Also, this is kind of goofy, but I really hate when the sun goes down while I'm in the middle of reading...I will strain my eyes as long as I can to see the words, and then finally get up and turn on the light.

I can't handle if someone is trying to talk to me while I'm reading, it's incredibly annoying. Especially when I want to continue reading but I have to answer the person talking to me. I mean really, if I look busy it most likely means that am.

I read in order to fall asleep and my husband doesn't talk anyway whether I am reading or not.
