Maybe not "in love" but certainly "in lust" -- Carol Starkey, the hard-living LA bomb squad cop in Robert Crais' "Demolition Angel" -- terrific thriller, by the way.

The last book character that I fell in love with is probably Hugo Cabret. The book was so amazing. I first read it when I was in second grade, and since then I have probably read the book ten or eleven times. You notice something new every time you look at the pictures. Does anyone else love these books?

I fell for Jacob Black from the Twilight Series. His role in the series was just the tipical teenage dream.

Well, of course, as a kid I became enraptured with certain characters, but never "in love" because I was mostly reading adventure novels (Edgar Rice Burroughs, Tom Swift Jr, etc) and "girls" weren't much in the picture. ha ha

I therefore admired John Carter of Mars or Carson of Venus, those sort of juvenile heroes.

But I got away from juvenile-oriented adventure books pretty young, reading Faulkner, Hemingway, and Henry Miller by age 12. So my teenage crushes were few and far between, and I've made up for it as an adult, being pretty much glammed onto modern hard-core tough gals in crime fiction. Reticent and distantly semi-virginal heroines need not apply.

Three of them:
In a book, the most recent would be Jace, from the Mortal Instruments Series. For whatever reason, I'm attracted to people like him--however, I don't feel like they casted him well in the film, so I'm only counting the Jace from the books.
In a show, Vikings characters Ragnar and adult Bjorn. I follow both actors on facebook and if either walked into the store where I work, I'm pretty sure I'd die.

I also loved Julian Mayfair from "The Witching Hour" by Anne Rice.

My fictional love is Four from the Divergent series. He stole my heart the moment he first called Tris a stiff. I could tell right away he wasn't like the others. He was a Dauntless with a heart, and that made him something outstandingly amazing.

I fell in love with Pheonix from the last series I read. Embrace series from Jessica Shirvington is by far my favorite. He was evil but yet found love and changed. His character was so handsome and I loved how he just went all out with his emotions. It showed me that characters can be so evolutionary!

Courageous. Funny. Gallant. Quirky. Loyal. He basically had it all, but somehow this character was painted in real, honest, believable colors. Never lofty, Jimbo from the Joy Jordan-Lake's Blue Hole Back Home, was always grounded in heart-wrenching reality while being the kind of colorful, heroic character I wish I could be, or at least fall for.

His full name was James Beauregard after a civil war general on his mama's side, but the "mangy pack" of teenagers that became everyday, small-town heroes by book's end just called him Jimbo, or often simply Bo. It was a beautiful book. It was a horrible book. It broke my heart, but always the characters were stunning. Read it, I know you'd fall in love with Bo too.

“I solemnly vow that I will safeguard and hold dear and deep in my heart our union and you. I promise to love you faithfully, forsaking all others, through the good times and the bad, in sickness and in health, regardless of where life takes us. I will protect you, trust you, and respect you. I will share in your joys and sorrows and comfort you in times of need. I promise to cherish you and uphold your hopes and dreams and keep you safe at my side. All that is mine is now yours. I give you my hand, my heart, and my love from this moment on for as long as we both shall live. - Christian's vows to Ana”

For the first time in forever, I ventured out reading an erotic book, the Trilogy of Fifty Shades of Grey. I'm kinda conservative, and it was shocking for me, I can't really picture what has gone in the entire series. At first, I wanna stop at the first chapter. The author is good, though it's not my favorite genre. Curiosity killed the cat!

That was roughly two years ago when I fell for Christian Grey, only at the last part, Fifty Shades Freed, when I found him really lovable, when he's a truly transformed man, and he made a vow to Ana. LOL! :o

I ALWAYS fall in love with stories' male characters! I'm so bad like that! I'm especially vulnerable to guys who are kind of shy and quiet and nervous (which you don't see a lot, so in the rare event that it does happen, I flip out with excitement). They're so adorable.
The last great character I fell in love with was Faolin from a little-known book called The Poppet and the Lune by Madeline Claire Franklin. I wish everyone knew this book. It's magic. And Faolin was my favorite...

It has been a while since I fell in love with a character! Ah!
How could I forget Cedric Volokine! Maan. I want to eat McDonalds with him despite of high calories and buy croissants and drink coffee in the morning.
